My First Geological Expedition Along the Rivers of the North of European Russia

A translation is provided of an autobiographical account of the first geological excursion, in 1939, by E. E. Milanovsky, one of the doyens of Russian geology, through northwest Russia, accompanied by copies of some of the drawings he made at that time.
